Marshall, Virginia – Field & Main Restaurant has been nominated for a RAMMY by The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington as finalist in the Best Wine Program category. Owned by Neal and Star Wavra, this is Field & Main’s first RAMMY nomination since opening their farm-to-table upscale casual restaurant in September 2016.

The wine and beverage program is managed by Neal, a certified sommelier, Virginia Governor’s Cup judge, manager of Loudoun County Wine Awards Competition, and Tony Ruffo, WSET 3 Graduate with over 10 years of beverage management experience at fine dining establishments throughout the region.

Wavra notes, “We are so pleased to be nominated for a RAMMY for our wine program. Sharing wines and their many stories is one of the ways we develop and build connections with our guests and provide them with a memorable dining experience. We are delighted that RAMW has recognized our efforts and are honored to be among such an accomplished group of fellow nominees.”

Winners from each of the 21 award categories will be announced at The 38th annual RAMMY Awards Gala on Sunday, September 20th, 2020 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
