March 14 is Pi Day (because it’s 3/14, of course!) That means bakeries, pie shops, and pizza places around Virginia and DC are celebrating by offering up some sweet deals. 

We may not know all the digits in pi, but we do know we’ll take any excuse we can get to go out and eat some delicious circle shaped foods. Here’s a roundup of all the deals happening Wednesday – let us know if there’s any we’re missing!

• Livin The Pie Life (Arlington) – They’re having an in shop special where you can get 3 slices of pie for $14 from 10am until closing (or until there’s no more pie left).

• The Pie Chest (Charlottesville) – You can enter your name each time you visit The Pie Chest this week for daily giveaways and one awesome prize to cap off the best week ever.

• IRON Paffles & Coffee (Charlottesville) – Grab a paffle sammy with your choice of cherry or apple and rhubarb pie filling served with fresh whipped cream or vanilla bean gelato and a coffee for just $5. All-day Wednesday.

• Bayou Bakery (Arlington) – Bayou Bakery is offering a selection of individual pies and mini-hand pies with a range of flavors including Southern Pecan and Lemon Meringue for just $3.14 each.

• Proper Pie Co. (Richmond) – The first hundred paying customers will receive a free exclusive Proper Pie mug. One per order, while supplies last.

• Floozies Pie Shop (Louisa) – This special will be a slice of apple pie or Guinness cake for $3.14 plus tax until they run out!

• Woodruff’s Store: Cafe & Pie Shop (Monroe) – Woodruff’s Store will have specials on all their regular pies plus some pie surprises!

• Dangerously Delicious Pies (DC) – Stop by for Pi Happy Hour from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., while supplies last, a special menu offers a selection of sweet slices for $3.14– 1 slice per guest.

• Baked & Wired (DC) – Their famous handpies will be making a comeback for Pi Day, so stop by if you haven’t had a chance to try one yet.

• The Rustic Tart (Norfolk) – The Rustic Tart’s Black & Blue pie is their special for the day and is $1 off.  If you tag The Rustic Tart in a photo of your pie & use hashtag #piday you’ll also have a chance to win a $10 gift card

• Pizzeria Paradiso (DC) – Order the Rooster Pie (inspired by a chicken pot pie) and a draft beer at any location, and you’ll get a $3.14 discount off your bill.

• &Pizza (DC) – &Pizza transforms their DC Chinatown storefront every Pi Day into a wedding chapel because pizza is love, of course. While they already have the brides & grooms selected, you can still stop by for a party all day long with treats and pizza!
